Top 3 Old Royal Naval College Wedding Photograph Opportunities
The Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, is one of the most visited attractions on the UK. The stunning architecture, and surrounding grounds provide a magnificent backdrop for a wedding. The site offers several venues for ceremonies and receptions, including the awe-inspiring Painted Hall, the Chapel, or the more intimate Admiral’s House.
With so many opportunities to choose from, it was difficult to narrow down my favourite Old Royal Naval College wedding photography shots.
For a grand entrance, couples can choose to arrive at the venue by boat, which will of course make a fantastic first photograph in their wedding album.
The Painted Hall
Any location within the stunning Painted Hall offers the perfect backdrop to a photograph, but my favourite spot is on the stairs. Framed by two magnificent columns, with the elaborately decorated ceiling above, a photograph of the bride and groom ascending the stairs really conveys the grandeur of the venue.
Beneath The Colonnades
A romantic cuddle beneath The Colonnades contrast beautifully with the formality of the regimented columns.
If you are planning a wedding at the Old Royal Naval College, please get in touch so we can discuss how to incorporate the stunning Baroque architecture, and beautiful gardens into your wedding album.
