The Orangery, Maidstone: Tranquil Wedding Venue In Picturesque Gardens
The Orangery or Turkey Mill as it was formerly known is a fantastic wedding venue and very local to me 🙂 This was the venue for Andrew and Ebru’s wedding, the day from start to finish was perfect! Andre and Ebru both started the day at the Hilton Hotel, just a shot drive away from the venue. Andrew drove to The Orangery in a Ferrari and Ebru was transported in a beautiful horse drawn carriage.
The guests were treated to music, food, drink, entertainment and a finale of fireworks by the lake.
A little more about the venue, The Orangery, located in Maidstone, Kent, is an exclusive use venue, meaning you and your guests will be the only visitors on your wedding day.
As a Kent wedding photographer, I have attended weddings at a number of wedding venues in the Garden of England, but the peace and tranquility offered at The Orangery is particularly memorable
Ceremonies are conducted either in the Garden Room, or weather permitting, in the Gazebo outdoors.
The Orangery, which hosts the wedding breakfast, boasts floor to ceiling arched windows, which provide excellent views across the gardens, and ample natural light.
Guests are welcome to spill out onto the spacious terrace, or stroll around the nine acres of landscaped gardens.
This freedom creates a relaxed atmosphere, ideal for generating authentic interactions to capture on camera. These spontaneous, informal photographs add a new dimension to the wedding album, giving it depth and variety.
The gardens themselves offer numerous stunning backdrops for wedding photographs, including a tranquil lake, manicured lawn, tumbling waterfall, and picturesque footbridges over the stream, ideal for romantic images of the newly-weds, or group poses with the guests.
At night, cleverly positioned floodlights create a romantic, magical atmosphere, in which to enjoy the evening’s entertainment.
